Emiley Kight, UX Designer

Emiley (she/her) is a designer based in Phoenix, AZ. She prides herself in her resourcefulness and versatility to create digital products that people enjoy using.

Her story

"I think I would do UX for free. I really love talking to people and getting down to the root of their issues. There's something about taking that information, making a product design change, and then seeing people fill out a form faster or enjoy something that used to be frustrating that is extremely validating."

Aside from designing, Emiley goes on hikes with her heeler when it isn't hot outside, nurtures the plants in her mini-greenhouse, and sings show tunes in her car.

Making the world a better-designed place

Emiley designs with these values in mind:

  • Problem solve for the user as their advocate.
  • Good design is essentialistic (new word unlocked). Add what is necessary, remove what isn't.
  • Well-designed products can benefit the user, the business, AND the community.
